More info

Pen Fisher, there are some moments in our history, where everyone remembers where they were and what they were doing and with whom. On July 20, 1969 is one of those. This is the original Fisher Space Pen that was used in the Apollo 7 space mission in 1968 after two years of testing by NASA and has been used on all manned space flights since then. The design and construction of this ballpoint pen has not changed in 36 years. This pen today is exactly the same design as the one that takes the Moon in 1969. It is a heavy ballpoint pen, and the weight falls on your hand as you type. The GA7 is made of solid brass with a very hard chromium plating. It has a resistant mechanism. Press down on the top to expand the fill and press the side button to retract the point before it slides into your pocket. All the highest quality bronze and steel components are manufactured and made in the USA.
