Montblanc LeGrand The Origin Blue Fountain Pen

In 1924 the Meisterstück by Montblanc was launched, it is considered an elegant writing instrument, a symbol of refined taste. To pay tribute to this milestone, Montblanc created The Origin collection, a tribute to the brand's long history and legacy.

The collection draws inspiration from some of the earliest found vintage designs, as well as features from early Meisterstück editions, to create a design that captures the founding essence of the brand and infuses it with a modern touch.

Made from dark blue precious resin, the cap features a fluid motif inspired by early designs that represents the dissolution of ink on paper, creating an elegant contrast with the platinum details. The clip is an homage to the clip shapes worn by some of the first Meisterstück writing instruments, evoking a sense of nostalgia.

On the cap we can discover the original Meisterstück logo, which has adorned the cap as a symbol of high quality since its creation. This anniversary is decorated with a special cap ring showing the years 1924 and 2024.
