Montblanc pays homage to the origins of the iconic writing instrument with a collection inspired by the spirit of the 1924 Chamonix Olympic Games. The year 1924 symbolises the launch of the writing instrument that would become one of the brand's most coveted masterpieces, and the same year also saw the first Winter Olympic Games held in Chamonix at the foot of Mont Blanc.
The Classique edition is crafted from precious resin in a blue-grey hue, resembling the official colour chosen for the Winter Games. The Olympic rings are part of the Olympic legacy logo engraved on the ring at the top of the cap, surrounded by a wreath of leaves, evoking the highest award given to the winners of the Olympic Games of antiquity.
The cap is engraved with the words Olympic Games Chamonix 1924 within a frame inspired by the cover of the official report of the Games. The anniversary cap ring features both 1924 and 2024, symbolising the significance of both years. The Montblanc emblem is crowned on the cap top in precious coral-coloured resin, the distinctive Montblanc colour.
