Montblanc pays homage to the origins of the iconic writing instrument with a collection inspired by the spirit of the 1924 Chamonix Olympic Games. The year 1924 symbolises the launch of the writing instrument that would become one of the brand's most coveted masterpieces, and the same year also saw the first Summer Olympic Games held in Paris at the foot of Mont Blanc.
This special edition in precious resin with a warm shade of red, the official red colour of the 1924 Paris Games, features a handcrafted 14K 585 gold nib adorned with a javelin thrower, a nod to the vintage poster of the 1924 Olympic Games. The Olympic rings are part of the Olympic legacy logo engraved on the ring at the top of the cap, surrounded by a wreath of leaves, evoking the highest award given to the victors at the Olympic Games of antiquity.
The cap is engraved with the words Olympic Games Paris 1924 within a frame inspired by the cover of the official report of the Games. The anniversary cap ring features both 1924 and 2024, symbolising the significance of both years. Crowning the edition is the Montblanc emblem on the top of the cap in precious coral-coloured resin, Montblanc's signature colour.
